The Parish of Creeting St Mary is consolidated with Creeting All Saints and Creeting St Olaves in the Rural Deanery of Bosmere, Archdeconery of Ipswich, Diocese of Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich in the County of Suffolk.
Priest-in-Charge – Revd. Philip Payne
Church Warden – Vacancy
There is is now a reduced number of clergy in the parish. There is just one full time priest (Revd Philip Payne), one part time (Revd. Helen Norris) and three licenced lay members. This means that it is impossible to maintain all services throughout the eight parishes. For Creeting St Mary this means that services will be shared with Creeting St Peter. On the first Sunday of the month there will be a non-communion Family Service at 9:30am at Creeting St Peter and a BCP communion at 11am on the second Sunday. The third and fourth Sundays will be a Morning Prayer and Holy Communion both at Creeting St Mary at 9:30am.
The regular pattern of services is
1st Sunday – 9:30am – Family Service at Creeting St Peter
2nd Sunday – 11:00am – Holy Communion at Creeting St Peter
3rd Sunday – 9:30am – Morning Prayer at Creeting St Mary
4th Sunday – 11:00am – Holy Communion at Creeting St Mary
Also on 26th May Rogation Service at 4pm preceded by a walk from Stonham Aspal (2:30pm) to Earl Stonham (3:00pm) then Stonham Parva (if repairs completed)
